Additionally, sensitive personal information like your bank account details may be required if you wish to process refunds for Cash on Delivery (COD) orders directly to your account.

To verify your identity, particularly if you lose access to your account and cannot authenticate through methods like OTP or password, we may request additional details such as your PAN, GST number, government-issued ID cards, or other Know-Your-Customer (KYC) information.

We also collect data on your buying behavior, preferences, and other information you provide on our site. This data helps us analyze user demographics, interests, and behavior to improve our understanding and service. The information is reviewed in aggregate and may include details like the URL you visited before and after our site, your computer or mobile browser/app details, and your IP address.

4. Data Deletion Request

User’s may request to delete their account by sending an email to contact@ncharnt.com after which they will not be able to access the account anymore. Certain data like purchase history including invoices, billing details, delivery address and payment/refund history may not be deleted as required under any applicable law and for prevention of fraud. 

5. Do not Disturb Requests (DND)

You may receive transactional SMS, calls on registered mobile/landline number with us, related to your account/orders placed on our website. All the calls/SMS/notifications on communication apps etc. will be related to transactions performed on our website. You may be sent promotional e-mails/SMS/notifications through other apps related to offers/products on our site. Should you wish to not receive those, you may click on the un-subscribe link provided or write an email to contact@ncharnt.com.

6. Advertising

We may use personalised advertising/re-targetting features of ad platforms like Google AdWords, Facebook, or any other ad platform. For this purpose we may share email address, phone number or other personal details in encrypted hash form, used solely for the purpose of matching profiles to deliver better personalised ad experience. Personal identifiable information won’t be shared in clear text with any of the 3rd party sites. 

7. Legal Issues

Just in case, a transaction is involved in a legal dispute (usually credit card fraud), information might be requested from us in form of a sub-poena (legal demand for information or appearance). In such cases, we might be required to furnish requisite information. In case this occurs, our policy is to first contact the customer (through preferred medium chosen by the customer) to inform them of our legal obligations. These issues are not common and generally happen in case of credit card frauds. Hence, such information sharing would help in protecting your account and business with us.

Your order details and personal details like address and phone number may be shared if asked by any Government Department eg. Sales Tax Department.
Notwithstanding anything contained in this Policy or elsewhere, NCharnt or NCharnted Studios, it’s proprietors or employees shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage or misuse of the User Information, if such loss, damage or misuse is attributable to a Force Majeure Event. A “Force Majeure Event” means any event that is beyond the reasonable control of NCharnt or it’s proprietors or any employees and includes, without limitation, fire, flood, explosion, acts of God, civil commotion, strikes, lock outs or industrial action of any kind, riots, insurrection, war, acts of government, power failure, sabotage, computer hacking, unauthorised access to computer data and storage device, system failure, virus, attacks, bugs, computer crashes, breach of security and encryption.

8. Mergers & Acquisitions

If we merge with, or are acquired by another company, the resulting combined company will use the Personal Information you have provided as described in this policy. If we cease operation, your Personal Information may be transferred to and used by another company that offers similar or related products or services.
